Course Description
This course combines various grid integration concepts of renewable energy resources, including power generation, transmission, and distribution. It enables individuals to study the distributed generation systems, to identify emerging issues with it and thus understand the requirements for the correct integration of renewable energies into the grid. It covers a wide range of topics, including: distributed generation technologies; photovoltaic systems; wind energy systems; the technical requirements for grid connection; impact studies; electric vehicles; energy storage; standards & codes; smart grid; micro-grids; net metering; interconnection agreements.
