Best Practices for Diagnosing Faults in a Solar PV System
Introduction Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems have become increasingly popular...
Course Description
The EE215S intensive training course is designed to help individuals understand the fundamentals of SketchUp modeling methods and techniques for creating 3-dimensional buildings & roofs and PV array layouts design from scratch. Shading analysis techniques will be taught and used to explore the optimum PV array layouts. A little experience in PV Systems is required. It covers a wide range of topics, including: Modeling the roof based on site evaluation drawings, Adding PV Modules to the Roof, Shading Analysis, Plugins (definition, the most popular SketchUp plugins, Installing plugins), Exporting 2D Graphics, exporting animation video, Importing AutoCAD files, SketchUp files, and images. This course includes 20 hours of online-live training (or onsite), a course outline, examples, exercises, quizzes, assignments, final project, final exam and a certificate of completion.
