Introduction to Solar Power Systems (EE200). (20hrs)
The EE200 intensive training course is designed to help individuals understand the fundamentals of solar energy systems from scratch. No experience required. It covers a wide range of topics, including: the fundamentals of solar energy, types of solar energy systems, electricity fundamentals, system sizing principles, and the design of photovoltaic systems. Advanced Solar Power Systems I (EE201). (30hrs)
The EE201 intensive training course is designed to help individuals understand advanced topics of photovoltaic systems. It covers a wide range of topics, including: site analysis, system sizing, array configuration, and performance estimation; electrical design characteristics such as wiring, overcurrent protection and grounding; a detailed look at module, charge controller, battery and inverter specifications and characteristics; mounting methods for various roof structures and ground-mounts; troubleshooting and maintenance; using software & programs to design PV systems; and an introduction to safely and effectively commissioning PV systems.

Photovoltaic Systems Lab (EE203). (20hrs)
The EE203 intensive training lab. is designed to put the classroom theory into practice with the ultimate hands-on PV experience available. It offers trainees the opportunity to work closely with experienced PV professionals and engineers. You will gain valuable insight and experience while installing and commissioning multiple PV systems consisting of modules, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, BOS and racking components from a wide range of manufacturers that are all big players in the PV industry. Introduction to Electrical Power Systems (EE310). (15hrs)
This is an introduction to Power Systems analysis and their components. It is designed to help individuals understand the fundamentals of electrical power systems from generation to distribution. Electrical Power Systems Quality (EE314). (15hrs)

In today`s world of Smart Grid, deregulated electric power systems, and high use of novel power electronics, power quality is an important commodity. This course is aimed at familiarizing the concepts of voltage sags, harmonics, momentary disruptions, and waveform distortions. A theoretical and mathematical basis for various indices, standards, models, and analyses techniques will be presented. Additionally, sources of power quality problems and some remedies for improvement will be discussed. This course combines various grid integration concepts of renewable energy resources, including power generation, transmission, and distribution. Part of the U.S. Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) enforces standards for safe and healthy workplace conditions. This OSHA10 online training course teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. This course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. It was also designed to help workers stay up-to-date with their OSHA safety requirements.
