Battery Energy Storage Systems-BESS Design Course (EE220)

Course Description

The EE220  intensive training course is designed to help individuals understand fundamental & advanced topics of battery energy storage systems. It covers a wide range of topics, including: grid integration of DG fundamentals, battery chemistries, battery storage system, BESS applications & benefits, PV plus storage design, risk & safety, BESS design, lithium-ion batteries. This course includes 30 hours of online-live training (or onsite), a course outline, examples, exercises, quizzes, assignments,final project, final exam and a certificate of completion.

Pre-requisites: EE200 & EE201

Course Objectives

o Ability to operate and maintain battery systems

Assignment of course grade:
The grade will be based on the weighted index as shown below.
