Alahmer received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, SC, USA in 2011. He joined the ME department at the Tafila Technical University (TTU), Jordan, in 2012 as Assistant Professor. His research concerns on modelling, simulation, renewable energy, Alternative fuel, and material selection. Alahmer got an Australian Endeavour scholarship and fellowship, August 15, 2015 to January 31, 2016 at the School of Engineering and ICT, University of Tasmaina, Hobart, TAS, Australia as visiting researcher professor. Moreover, he got a (DFG) scholarship, June 1, 2017 to August 31, 2017 at Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe – University of Applied Science, Höxter, Germany. Alahmer got Award of the best second design for participating in Formula Student Class II-2018 competition, 11-14 July, UK. Dr. Alahmer had several publications in more than 40 articles in privileged journals and conferences. Furthermore, he published a book and a chapter. Dr. Alahmer has enrolled in Formula Student Team and worked with other supervisors to elevate students’ levels who won the 2nd place in the design event among 36 international universities in Formula student Class II-2018 competition, 11-14 July, UK. |
