Description
Photovoltaic Mastery Package is a comprehensive training experience of 50 hrs to equip you to become a specialist in photovoltaic systems.
This package includes the following Parts:
Introduction to Solar Power Systems .
covers a wide range of topics, including: the fundamentals of solar energy, types of solar energy systems, electricity fundamentals, system sizing principles, and the design of photovoltaic systems.
Advanced Solar Power Systems .
covers a wide range of topics, including: site analysis, system sizing, array configuration, and performance estimation; electrical design characteristics such as wiring, overcurrent protection and grounding; a detailed look at module, charge controller, battery and inverter specifications and characteristics; mounting methods for various roof structures and groundmounts; troubleshooting and maintenance; using software & programs to design PV systems; and an introduction to safely and effectively commissioning PV systems.
Assignment of course grade: The grade will be based on the weighted index as shown below.

Course Pass Grade: 80%
Target Audience
Design Engineers, Project engineers, teachers, Engineering and science students.
Required hardware
Participants should bring a laptop that runs under Windows or Mac, internet access, and a scientific calculator.
Certificate
All certificates will be granted after achieving at least 80% grade. Certificates will be issued by GIEE USA after finishing the course and passing all requirements.
Important Note: Students who do not pass 80% can retake the final exam after paying $30 exam fee.
